Hi all,
I'm busy making a super new search engine for the site. A mobile-friendly, dynamic/interactive and fast new way to search members.

As it's so complex with many options and variables, I'm looking to get a bunch of "testers" to try and "break" the system (cause a crash, error, etc and report to me).

Assuming not everyone will read this forum topic, I'll just post the link here and let everyone who's interested test it for me. Please, please give me feedback (good and bad) and especially report errors. Also need to know how it works on various mobile phones. Thanks....

(note: If you're logged in it will automatically set your postcode plus default age range of -7 and +7 around your own age)

Hi Matt
Just had a play. only brought up 12 active male members with photos in a 100 mile radius of me (used three months option).
Seems easy enough to use tbh.
do like the fact that its all on one page with picture thumbnails.
Not sure I'm technically minded enough to "break" the system though!!!!

Fixed! I had it filtering something by mistake. Now ok for you?

So far 110 searches have been made and none have taken more than 0.3 seconds to process :-D

FIXED: Issue if you selected an advanced option, it also listed people who have "Tell you later" specified. Not what we want i think.

Hi Matt looks great to me though not sure it included everyone in the area ?? . Love the little pictures . I'm sure new members will like it.
Hope that helps ?

Thanks.

Double check the options. By default it searches a radius of 100 miles and anyone -7 or +7 years difference in age.

It also by default removes all those members who don't have a profile photo uploaded.

You can change the default sort order on the right hand side.

Checked it on my HTC One, I usually browse with the phone upright - portrait - the age and distance selection bars rendered all cramped up and pretty illegible.

Turning the phone to landscape makes it all render much better, nice, simple, very quick.

great thanks mate, I'll see if i can make the sliders smaller so less cramped. Looked ok on my Samsung S4 but it's a big screen and high resolution
