This morning's School bus run was enlivened by a large male hare running down the middle of a country lane ahead of me for a while...needless to say,i stayed well behind him ,so he had plenty of time to take to the hedgerow.he certainly had more acceleration than my bus..

A repeat performance by the jaywalking(running?) hare on the lane leading to Leighterton from Didmarton..either he commutes that way,or is plain suicidal...

Saturday and a young lad at local bike shop trying to figure out why his newish YZF 125 would not fire up..."um,it's your kill switch"...red face and a "Cheers then"..."no worries, been there done it myself"..

That made me chuckle Jinx, I am guilty of accidentally using the kill switch thinking it was my lights, don't ask I hadn't been on that bike for nearly three years, lucky I was in my garage still

My wonderful mechanic... shout out to Ian, owner of Mr Pigs Motorcycles. Nowt a problem, bless him, even arranging to pick my baby up (and drop her back off) for her mot next Saturday cos I'm still not allowed to ride for at least another three weeks due to surgery. Great guys, fantastic service, highly recommended to anyone in Manchester area. The guys there rock :-)

Ok So picture the scene, Motorcycle park area at Bourton-on-the-Water. Just put disk lock on and secured helmet to the bike. (In his very best Jobsworth/Mr Bean) voice, the Traffic Warden says...You have one and a half hours, I note your registration in my book here. OK says I in a normal voice. Fair enough.

THEN....he appears to be giving the bike a once over. What are you doing ? says I. Mr Bean then says, and you couldn't make this up............. I'm checking the position of your wheel valves, so if you go and come back I'll know. The front one is about ten to one, the back about 5 past 4. Why is it always me that meets them ???? I bet he collects milk bottles as a past time. I didn't quite get the wheel valve logic either.
