Attractive, cultured, educated female with sparkle for rally and roadtrips in 2026

I have just returned, or I will do on the 1st April 2026, to motorcycling after a hiatus of 25 years. Maybe it's a desire to return to my youth, or maybe I'm trying to recreate that beautiful imagery of Easy Rider, with the sun on my face ( open face helmets, obviously), t-shirt and jeans on the way to Woodstock. I have never been to a motorcycle rally in my life, but this summer, I intend to go to The Farmyard Party in North Yorkshire and see what it's all about. I have never slept in a tent either, so that's another experience in store. I don't drink and don't take drugs, but I don't think that matters. I can still take in the atmosphere. I would be highly delighted to take a glamorous and bright female companion with me. I like arty, educated people and love the eccentric and the bohemian. Basically, the hippy thing again really. I am completely single and have never been married. No kids etc or baggage of any kind. I am not a problem person in the slightest and the only drama with me might be going to visit the restored Georgian theatre in Richmond.

PS. Just for the purposes of being a completist, I'll mention that I love art and art history. My profile name, Rake's Progress, is a series of 18th century paintings by William Hogarth. In these, a young man gets his significant inheritance, which he proceeds to squander, with the consequence that he ends up in Bedlam. It's a sort of morally instructive thing really. But shouldn't there be a modern day version with a happier ending ? A chap in his early 50s buys a motorcycle and dreams of 1960s counterculture. In Plate 2, he signs up with a motorcycle themed dating site. In the last Plate, he is shown with a huge grin on his face, chatting away blissfully to a very attractive hippy woman beside him at 2am in his tent at the summer motorcycle rally. I think that set of pictures would do me very nicely indeed.

I think that I'm in fairly good shape and am quite muscular. I go every day to the gym and do a lot of circuit and spinning classes there, which I enjoy. Again, I don't smoke or drink. I'm not quite Michelangelo's David, but I'm quite happy with my appearance. I have no tattoos or piercings. I have a tidily trimmed beard. Actually, the non-smoking part is technically not correct. While I have never smoked cigarettes, maybe once a year, I love a Havana cigar. If we go to a motorcycle rally in the height of summer, I may well indulge myself then in the evening. My natural state is to be self confident, very friendly and I like raconteurial people.

Charismatic, attractive, educated female with a good sense of humour. I want somebody who genuinely stands out as having sparkle. Very good looking, from whom I get a kick visually when I walk down the street with them, but equally importantly, with a high quality attitude towards other human beings. I feel somewhat uncomfortable making the first point, because it sounds so superficial, but looks are significant to me and it would be unfair to omit this criteria and potentially waste somebody's time. Somebody who likes to grin, who is a people watcher and likes lot of conversations. If you like art, history and literature, I am going to think that you're the bee's knees. Despite loving keeping fit, I cannot stand sport, by the way. You won't catch me at a rugby or football game. I am very much a traditionalist and have recently attended several ancient events that have been running for centuries, including the Abbot's Bromley Horn Dance and the Atherstone Ball Game ( do put these into Youtube if you're not familiar with them). I keep threatening to go to the Lewes Bonfire, but it's a long drive from me.
