Matt Wadsworth, has been blind since birth and is attempting to break a record for the longest distance motorcycle jump. This is just part of the story with more to come... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzbWeCKJ7wY

oh David pardon your pun lol B M Matt, that's an old photo you've got there, tut tut Never mind the jump how did he cope with the heat, in bike gear and a helmet, it was 102 degrees at the dry lake bed. That guy is amazing and makes me feel ashamed not to be more adventurous.

Just a little bit more about Matt: "Matt Wadsworth was born in Manchester England in 1974. Blind since birth, he has gone on to become a leading figure in his industry, as both musician and entrepreneur. Matt spent most of his childhood focused on playing guitar and riding motorcycles. At the age of six, he learned to navigate his way around a bike track by using differing sounds and textures of terrain as a guide. He would frequently reach speeds of 30 miles per hour." You can keep up to date with the project on http://www.makingthejump.com/ where you can also donate to the project (and maybe help him out with his mathematics too!!)
