Hey ppl help!!! Ive developed a funny knocking noise, well not me my bike, it's coming from bottom end, like a clunk when i open the throttle, think its gears but any help please????????

Hi CYTM here using HFG's login. I agree with all those above, but does deffo sound like a loose/worn chain. Any idea how many miles the chain has done? plus last time it was adjusted?

not being funny but do you oil it regularly ????


look at the teeth on the sprocket are the uniform both sides of the teeth or do they look like they are leaning forward slightly?


Put bike in neutral run the back wheel around and look at chain your looking for loose links damage worn looking links....

another clue to a worn chain/sprocket is a very slight raise/fall in the revs as you ride along at a constant speed. Usually constant speed should have constant revs, but listen for that rhythmic pitch change (its only very slight, kinda like a washing machine on spin cycle if its slightly off balance)
