Well, I started my biking off in 1977 with a Suzuki AP50.
Honda Superdream 250 (Had it for a month from brand new, then wrote it off)
Suzuki GT250 (Never run right, then engine seized)
Honda CB250K2 (Bought for £50 and rode it all of 10 miles)
Honda XL250 (Bought new and got pinched about 2 years later)
Break of about 15 years
Honda CB550K4
Honda Super Magna 750 (Lovely bike)
Yamaha FJ1100 (Got pinched)
Yamaha FJ1100
Yamaha Dragstar custom 1100 (bought new and never bonded with it as it was too slow)
Yamaha FJ1200
Kawasaki ZZR1100 (Scarily fast, but had to sell her when I got divorced)
Honda Goldwing GL1500 (Bought it as an ex girlfriend liked a comfy bike.........glad to get rid of it, not to mention the ex girlfriend!)
Yamaha FJ1200....current bike and I love her!

I`ve never managed to get away from the Yam FJ`s. Thet`re a brilliant touring bike. My first 3 were all in red and white, but my current one is white and blue as it`s the ABS model. Happy Days.

Heh harry worth My 1st bike was 1964 C102 brand new on the road tax and full comp cost me a staggering £92-00.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> my 2nd bike was a Royal Enfield continental GT 250. It was brand new and I paid £249 in 1966 I loved that bike and always regret selling it. Anyone seen it FKM 71D. OK they leaked oil but it was my work horse, I relied on it for work and used it in all weather. It was reputed to be the fastest British 250 single in its day. I was looking at a 250 Honda sport but thought I would support the British bike industry because those Jap bikes stood no chance lol. How wrong can you be! I lived quite close to Brand at one time, so I went most weekends and watched whatever petrol head stuff was on. Cars bikes whatever. I could see the changes take place with the bikes. 2 cylinders went to 4 and then 6 and it was on the cards that British bikes were on their way out. List cont.d Honda CM125 Kawasaki KMX 125 Honda CG125 Suzuki GS550 Yamaha XV 250S BMW R50 1958 airhead. My current bike I love the old girl. Why so many 125's you may ask. Because I kept going back to bikes roughly every decade. Confess I failed my test in 1967 but did not try again until 2010. I have regretted for years not retaking my test in the early days. I think I had a fear of failure or something. I will add though, having only recently taken the test again it has improved my car driving no end getting rid of all those bad habits we pick up. Getting a bike licence was on my list of things to do before I met the great DSA examiner in the sky. Anyone interested in vintage/classic bikes check this out. yesterdays motorcycle.nl I spent 1/2 day there when I picked my bike up. It was well worth the trip without buying the BMW. Sorry for going on! It’s the age you know. Old git.

Only 8 years of riding so:

Yam Fazer 600 (bought new the day after I passed my test)
Honda VFR400 NC24
Aprilia RS250
Ducati Monster 620 (bought to go club racing on)
Ducati GT1000

Thats it. Apart from the Honda, which was a bit of an expensive pain in the arse, I loved them all.

Suzuki GT250 (pre X7 model), which died before my test, which I took on a almost new MZ TS250 (gearbox was so stiff I couldn't find neutral, but still passed?!)

Z650 - great bike
400 superdream
another 400 superdream - nicked

another MZ250 (try them - they're ace!)

BMW r65
BMW r100rs - most disappointing

VFR750

ER5

another VFR750 (current bike)

My List in more or less chronological order:

Triumph T140 Bonneville US (still have it, but dismantled)
another Triumph T140 Bonneville US (still have it, but with broken frame)
Vespa Sprint 90
Honda CB550 (only Japanese bike, horrible on wet roads)
Moto Morini 3 1/2 (great sound, 6 gears, fun accelerating)
Moto Guzzi V7 Sport (still have it, needs attention)
Moto Guzzi 1000SP (still have it, used to be my workhorse)
Ducati 850GT in 900SS disguise, engine noise drove me mad, needed arms like Popeye to operate the clutch
another Moto Morini 3 1/2 (still have it)
Harley Davidson FX Super Glide
Moto Guzzi V65 Lario (still have it, caféracer project)
Moto Guzzi V11 Sport, a green one, with Mistal "silencers", fast and loud, but unreliable German (!) electrics
Moto Guzzi V65 Florida (my current everyday bike)
Moto Guzzi 750 Nevada (still have it, was very cheap, but needs a lot of attention)
