You could always ( accidentally) back over them 14 times with the car as the are leaving with their new partner from the house you just lost in the divorce that also took all your money and your busines and made you homeless and unable to have your kids at weekends just.....to gain a little self confidence when you meet that someone who is better all round than the thing you have just divorced with all their bad habbits and annoying mother in law......

Sorry was i thinking out load again........

Oh dear sdv,

I don't wish them harm, just sad that I wasn't what they wanted, I'm still friends with my ex, we have coffee together and take turns paying the bill I don't do grudges, lifes too short.

sdv! I thought it was supposed to be "a woman scorned" and all that, sounds like you have some issues mate. Best way to get over them? Big steps and try not to tread on their head as you go over

...apparently the argument that he "ran into my knife, 19 times" might just stand up in court!!

maybe worth thinking about more than putting into practice. voodoo dolls are theraputic as well

well for me - deleted his facebook account, sent all his emails from women to all the other women in his address book, sent loads of porn to all the prim and proper girlies in his address book (got some great responses! ) lol dropped his phone in the loo! and let a big box of Lizard food (thats live crickets) loose in his house while he was working away! after that took off on the bike for a week...came back sorted. Talkin of voodoo...he sent me a text saying i fell off my bike and in hospital - i texted back glad to know the doll and pins work so well! ps im a nice person really!

I heard once of an airline pilot who told his girlfriend to be out of the flat before he came back from a trip. A stewardess herself, she happened to know the number of the speaking clock - in Australia - so before she left she rang it and left the phone off the hook for the next four days. Apparently, unlike ours their clock doesn't hang up after a certain time.

Keeping yourself busy with friends and family is always good. Don't turn to alcohol - it may numb any pain but does not solve any problems.

Meeting new folk may help to restore your faith in others. It may also give you a lift.

Learn from the relationship. Learn where it went wrong, what you might change and how you might protect yourself from being hurt again.

Slightly ironic alcohol reference DD, I don't drink and never have, i'm allergic to it so would never be an option for me.

Learn from it? That will be the day, nice idea though Dik. I think the problem is that women don't really know what they want and men have even less idea what women want. I always want what I can't have, that's my problem lol

Always hard to start new relationships as you get older i think, cos both folk are set in there ways to some degree, but compromise is th ekey, and mind you do have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince/princess :)

Ewww, kissing frogs? Think you've been out of it for too long Jackie if you're resorting to wildlife to find your Mr Right
