The following link is to a thread started by a 17 year old lad who has purchased a Suzuki GS500E from DK Motorcycles. Unfortunately, this machine seems to be a "ringer" put together by DK....... click on the link and find out more, please read thwe whole thread. it's a bit long, but worth it http://www.gs500e.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=7112

Sean has gained a lot of support in his effort and links to the thread have been put on many bikers forums, including UKBF and Bikegirl. Now over 55,000 bikers internationally are supporting Sean, please add your name as one of them.
Thanks, 2W7D

Yes, this is something that has been posted on Bike Chat also, and has our full support. It's ridiculous

Further info... The bike has a 1996 frame with the numbers from the 2003 bike stamped into it. This stamp error was overlooked by D&K and the police are satisfied that there are NO charges to be brought. The frame from the 1996 bike was NOT stolen!! The bike should have been SVA tested not mot'd and it should have been put onto a 'Q' registration or scrapped. Quote from D&K motorcycles manager Mr Neesam: "I was unaware that the bike was put together in this manner however i was aware that it had been damage repaired. If Mr Holt wishes to have a refund we will be happy to do so, if he wishes to choose another bike then he is welcome to come and choose a replacement." Mr Neesam & Mr Wilson from D&K were very keen to resolve this matter with a minimum of hassle.

It's way too late for DK now, they once had a good reputation, but that has been seriously if not permenatly tarnished and I hope it becomes the downfall of them. We do not need dealers like that damaging the good name of us bikers.

They are also in a legal battle with Honda. Apparently DK have been importing grey bikes from a dealer in the US which isn't allowed by their Honda franchise contract to sell outside of the US.

This is yet another dodgy operation by DK Motorcycles and I feel they won't be in buisness for very much longer. Good riddence I say.
