I've had a Khyam Biker Tent for abour 18 months now and previously had many different types of tents. The poles are permanently attached to the tent and 'snap' together apart from the front porch pole that is a traditional 5 or 6 piece on elastic, that fits together and threads through the loops at the front of the porch.
The tent is quick erecting possibly 10 mins once you've done it a few times. The porch has plenty of room to stash your gear in but a groundsheet for the porch area does not come as standard.
The tent is very easy to take down and doesn't require neat folds to get in the tent bag. Screw it up roughly and it fits in the bag easily!
I paid £160 for mine but a quick search online just had it in a 'sale' for £119.
Downside of the tent is you cannot stand up in it and I find it a bit claustrophobic in the sleeping area.
Now look at the Hi-Gear Blackrock 4 tunnel tent from Go-Outdoors for £99
You can stand up in that, even cook in the porch entrance with care in wet weather. In bad weather you can also have a couple of seats in the porch area and watch the world go by.
It would take longer to erect than the 'biker' probably an extra 15 mins. It would also require folding up with great care to get back into the bag.
The 'Biker' weighs 5.8kg and the Hi-Gear 10.6 kg but on the back of the bike not really an issue for me.
The lengths of the tents when packed are the same so they will fit across the rear seat and panniers, with the Hi-Gear being slightly bulkier in diameter.
If you only do weekend camps then probably the biker will suffice but if you camp for longer times and through rainy seasons, the Hi-Gear has much to recommend it.

it says 2 man but will sleep 3, and up in 15 minutes on my own - well worth a gander if you're wanting something with a decent porch.

I'm going to head to Halfrauds later and have a look, it looks good for the price. As for it being a 2-man, it's actually larger than one of my 4-man tents (same size bedroom, bigger porch area).

The frying pan is about 7” diameter so I shall be having a proper brekky from now on cos it's big enough to cook more than just bacon and will double as a plate.
