FOLLOWING MONTHS of speculation whether the Hungary round of the 2010 MotoGP season will take place, it's now officially not going to happen. The FIM announced the news, stating construction of the Balatonring circuit will not be finished on time. The event will be replaced by a race at the Motorland Aragon circuit, Spain, on September 19th. The cancellation now means Spain will host four MotoGP races in the 2010 season: Jerez, Valencia and Barcelona are also on the 2010 schedule.

Is the circuit being built by a British firm?? Cos they cancelled it last year too - how long does it take to build this circuit??
