If you attended last year you may remember that certain restrictions where
imposed on the event by the local authorities. Mainly the confiscation of BBQs
and Alcohol brought to the event. This we know caused great upset and because of
this we have worked hard with the authorities to create a change in their
thinking. The rule with alcohol will still apply but we will allow a small
quantity to be brought onto the campsite on your initial arrival at the event
for consumption whilst setting out your camp. However security will still
confiscate any excessive amounts of alcohol that anyone attempts to bring onto
any part of the site. The event becomes a Licensed premise, so therefore to
allow alcohol onto the event site other than being sold through the event bar is
a violation of that licence. “You wouldn’t take your own beer to a pub now would
you” Our beverage sales are not over priced festival rip off ones. Please also
be aware that Small camping BBQs will be allowed this year, both small gas and
small disposable types are allowed. An area will be set aside for the purposes
of cooking your own food
