ROGER Lee Hayden has signed to ride for Pedercini Kawasaki in the 2010 World Superbike Championship, the team has announced.Hayden, younger brother to MotoGP racer Nicky, signed the deal following several seasons in AMA Supersport and Superbike championships. The 26-year-old will now ride a ZX-10R in next year's World Superbike series.“I am really happy to be participating in the World Superbike Championship next year with the Pedercini Team. It has always been my goal to race in a World Championship Series, and now I have the opportunity.“It's a big difference from what I did last year, but I'm ready and looking forward to taking that next step. It was the only option for Kawasaki to move him to WSB as his contract is with Kawasaki and not the team he rode for in the states, and if he had no ride for 2010 Kawasaki would still have to pay him.
But on the positive its good to get him involved and let him mix it with the regulars.
