I'm assuming that on at least one of them you sustained a minor head injury, hence i understand how the mere concept of getting a ...car....has entered your mind..... I was going to take the bike to work today but looking at the weather report i decided to wimp out and take the car doubling my travel cost. I have a simple rule for biking. I the police won't ride in it the i wont. Plus i don't want to shell out for repairing a pan European or spend more time on a long board if i meet something mid slide

Gotta agree with Homeboy, Geoff n RicDude.... I rode my little YB100 and others after it in all weathers for nearly 10 years before even bothering to learn to drive. Bike + snow wasnt good. I also experienced a rather hair-raisin 'dance' on black ice as a pillion one xmas (I still dont kno to this day how my fella at the time managed to keep us from goin down {respect}) T'was at that point i decided riding a bike in adverse conditions wasnt much 'fun' - and thats what my bike is for....so now I choose accordingly....and I aint ashamed at all...
