RST textile washing

I have an RST textile jacket with the bright yellow panels and it is beginning to look grubby. There are no washing labels inside and the RST website advises that it be cleaned using a damp sponge only. I have searched YouTube and other sites but have not found a clear answer whether I can use the regular cleaning and proofing products like Storm etc. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this particular product please? I am being cautious because the jacket was bought as a gift from my children and if I damage it, I will not be in a good place.

you might want to try warm water and a little washing up liquid not too much

I've used nikwax tech wash previously on my textiles. Just remember to remove all the armour first.

Just wait until winter, rain and frost should do the trick...failing that, eco friendly washing liquid ala Ecover..less or no chemicals than Fairy Liquid...👍👍
