Hello Kev
Are there any warning notices on that road? Did you report it to motorway maintenance?
Sounds like that's a fatal accident waiting to happen. 😮
Glad you got back safely, ta for the warning

Hi Sandi
No warning signs, they seem to only worry about cars and lorries not road conditions for bikes?
will try to contact them so they are aware, only used centre lane as overhead signs flashing 50 and traffic only seemed to be moving in centre lane Fast lane was ok

I agree Stuie but all one can do is try, at least they cant say they were not aware about it, if God forbid some biker does come a cropper.

Agreed. The ine that used to scare me was the trench between lanes 2 and three on the M4 between jct4 and 5 at Slough. For a few miles the motorway was missing on the tarmac joint.
