New little feature. At the top of every page (except the homepage) you will now see what we geeks call "Breadcrumbs".

For example...

Biker Match ► Forum ► BM Website Issues/Help Requests ► Breadcrumbs

Each "crumb" can be clicked.

This will hopefully help all members, new and old, keep the bearings around the site

It'll hopefully also help Google find it's way around BM

It's actually quite a complex bit of script I had to make, so if you see any bugs or weird things in the text please send the web page address to me urgently.

Thanks

Gotta say the Forum structure here is unlike any mainstream that I've used in the past but, thats not a criticism.
However on clicking the breadcrumb link for the next level up, I expected to be taken to the category NOT the main forum level???
eg clicking ► NEW: Website breadcrumbs, takes a user to the top level.

Clicking "new website breadcrumbs" will take you to page 1 of this topic.
Clicking 'website issues' forum will take you to the main forum page, but with the categories filtered to just website issues

Cheers

Indeed. And also helps Google to understand what the structure of the website is.
In the past couple of weeks we have had double the amount of traffic coming from Google searches because of a lot of hidden / foundation things I've been changing in the code
