And as a dragonfly they eat the dreaded mosquitoes.....
But they are in decline due to less ponds in back gardens etc and natural water and the old enemy of all wildlife..... Pesticides polluting countryside water....... So out with chemicals and in with good stuff

Watched a very interesting documentary about King Arthur and the do called invasions by Anglo Saxons to our country.......
After years of digging and mapping and archeology and other scientific stuff they have found that actually it looks like we were never invaded..... Yes Anglo saxon people landed on our Eastern shores but they integrated with us..... They didn't have wars with us.......
Tintagel in Cornwall used to hold immense importance throughout Europe due to the tin mined there and we were tradibg with people from Europe in the dark ages via the sea..... The oceans connected us instead of dividing us
They also snap tested thousands of people in a further scientific study and only sampled people who had lived in the area fir generations....... They found that a massive amount in the East of UK have about 20% Anglo saxon in them but people in Cornwall and Wales and North West tend to nit have Anglo saxon....... That's coz they didn't invade and kill they integrated into the East of UK....

Walking in the woods and going off the beaten track through brambles to our (me and doggie) magical clearing with a natural stream running across it..... Masses of space and trees and fallen leaves and various swampy bits with fallen trees and............... Today finding a big flyagaric shrooms circle that is magical...... The shrooms are all diff sizes and several have been well nibbled into!!! I just love it all..... It makes my spirit go ooooo ooh..... 😍😍
