hi I'm going to go from Bassetts Pole this year around 1/2 tennish I think. Will be the obligatory hot chocolate first though. So if you want some company on the ride up, drop in. If you don't know me, look out for the bright yellow VFR800. (Shines in the dark) AJ

I'm a marshal on route 5 so won't be able to join you. There is some work going on this year & it won't be finished in time so it will be a little different but back to normal next year.

There
will be events and music taking place from 9:30am to 5pm in 4 different
locations; Veterans Village, Visitors Centre, Marquees and The Bastion Memorial
along with some aerial attractions. Ride To The Wall Merchandise will be
available on the day from the stand located at the bottom of the steps of the
Armed Forces Memorial (CASH ONLY please).

There
will still be a service, and you will still be able to lay a wreath should you
wish to, but there will be no access to the Armed Forces Memorial on the day.

I'm amazed at the amount of folk who don't have one. I also find them handy in really hot weather, soft tarmac doesn't like bike stands
