Well it's wet and miserable out there so time to think about next year. What you fancy folks? A week in Scotland obviously, but rather than basing ourselves at Fort Gus for the week how about a tour? Not moving every day though. Places that have hotels, b&b's and camping to keep everyone happy. I'm attempted by the south west of Ireland, but as this will involve planning (ferries, booking accommodation, travel insurance) it will require a little moderately commitment. Anyone interested?

Be interested in a Scotland tour depending on the dates ??
shelleygirl @ 15/11/2015 17:35

It's our summer holibags Steve, of course we want to tour Scotland! Like the idea of moving on every couple of days with a set itinerary but freedom to choose and book our own accommodation.
Also like idea of Ireland, but then I also fancy France and lots of other places too.
izzyhill @ 15/11/2015 21:00

Good thing we got 52 weeks in the year then :-)
Steve_H @ 15/11/2015 21:40

peter1200gs @ 15/11/2015 22:01

What am I doing in 2016 ? I don't even know what day it is tomorrow.
JP @ 16/11/2015 02:03

You guys should do the 500 around the coast

I'm doing 3 European and 1 USA tour next year so busier than ever

Might pop along to some meets if any fit around free time

What I do depends on dates..
A weekend in the Lakes like last year would be good too..
Triple955 @ 16/11/2015 19:46

We intend to do a bike holiday down to Portugal may also get down to Gibraltar.
Will also be doing as much as possible in UK or short trips over/under the water on the weekends

Another Matlock Mayhem....that was a good day. End of April 'ish Sure someone has something to celebrate ? I'm sure I spoke to someone at KISS who has a special birthday next year, but too much Guinness prevented me from remembering who it was.

Resurrect Pick up a Pilly Day.................... I preferred Ollerton near Nottingham to the Cat and Fiddle. Much more room.

VFR800AJ @ 17/11/2015 04:39

Aj pick up a pilly day is on in 2016 around April time.
JP @ 17/11/2015 08:01

I've no ideas on dates yet till we get the house move sorted. Possibly May and July, Easter is early so I'll beinneec of something by May :-)
Steve_H @ 17/11/2015 08:06

Another Dent weekend...on a date I can make this time...
Triple955 @ 17/11/2015 22:55

Next year, There's still things to do this year.
This weekend a ride up to Norfolk, then a ride up to Brum for a night at the dogs and NEC and just before Christmas there's the Southern Christmas piss up sorry dinner in Eastbourne so another ride out.
Ragnar @ 18/11/2015 07:29

You're probably right with the first description there Chris !!!!!
DAVE VM @ 18/11/2015 15:50

A tour with tents is ok if the weather is dry. Otherwise it has to be b&b.
B&b needs advance booking to guarantee a place.
B&b is not very sociable.
I do enjoy a natter around the bbq/campfire.
Mmm.
Book b&b. Cry if it's sunny.
book camping. Cry if it rains.
mmm difficult.
B&b proper tour. Move on each day after breakfast. 09:00. 4- 5 hour ride plus a bit of sightseeing. . ... Nice hot shower plus pub for dinner .
Comfy bed for a kip and repeat.
Sounds good to me.
dustin666 @ 20/11/2015 01:32

We've not decided exactly what we're doing yet, but I'd certainly go B&B when touring Scotland, even in summer, and do the socialising in the pub.

Why? It's either wet or dry.

If it's wet camping sucks and a warm shower, warm bed, and space to dry the bike gear is a major win.

If it's dry the midges come out, but not on the B&B, win again.

MrMike @ 20/11/2015 11:37

hybinate till june 1st
then do scotland till 1st july
then go somewhere else
coz
july is when midges come out for the tourest feast
coz they have to stock up for the next year
