We booked for 2016 while we were there. Good job we did as the silver apartment we wanted was already sold out so it pays to be organised if you can lol

Book 3 apartments of 4 people and the lead booker goes free and receives a fridge of beer.... So incentive for a group booking from here? ;-D

Im thinking about this one to kick start my half century celebrations. Last time i went was my three decade commiserations.

Looking at prices for this...any real difference between a standard room and a silver one?...and it seems that you can book a room with just 1 person in it, but if there's 2 of you the price doubles!? Seems no incentive to share a room then!? ...are the apartments worth it?...

I was quoted, with discounts (ie splitting the free place betwixt everyone, as it's only fair), £106 per person - that's for 12 people in 3 x silver apartments and with 18 cans of beer thrown in!

I put a suggestion out there to various people but only got a response from a couple of folk. It seems that sharing is not 'the done thing'

That sounds better than the £168 per person! (with food) ...but surely we can get more people wanting to go!? I have 1 friend on here wanting to go, so that's 2 from me...I think there will be lots on here wanting free beer and a great biking weekend with a birthday celebration or 2 thrown in for good measure!!.. The apartments must be a better option than the rooms too!?

Just wondered from those already booked..have you tried the rooms or just gone straight for the apartments? I just wondered if its worth the extra for an apartment?

Things may have changed since I was there last ...

All I can say is that the 3 bed apartment was what we used 20 yrs ago and, as they were brand spanking new at that time, it was well worth the dosh (about 90 quid at the time), plenty of space. We even managed to get an Indian Takeaway delivered to the gate, collected it on the bike and a quick ride to the apartment, plates already warmed and waiting. Top Notch meal on Saturday night all sitting around the table!

Hmmm...how about 'the meal plan' ....anyone go self catering/eating elsewhere or is the meal plan a good idea ?...I think it's brekkie n evening meals?...might just be the cheaper option to have the meal deal but less flexibility? ...any advice?

The meal deal is great if you get up in the morning very good value with great choice
