Next time you're out and about in Matlock visit 62 North Parade
It looks like a lovely cake stop and comes highly recommended by one of out former BMers. Look it up in Facebook...those cake pics are to die for :>

Apparently this is on the main A6 between Cromford and Matlock and there is a carpark behind it. Have not found out if is open on Sunday, but as it is Bank Holiday weekend ,and it is very close to Heights of Abraham, I should imagine it will be.
Hope that helps any.
Do not know if able to get there myself through work but if can is anyone else going?

Yes "pudding on the Ritz" was open today (Sunday) and a very pleasant (quaint) place it is! :-)
