Well if your up anywhere near Glen Garry and fancy a really good biker friendly B and B check out this place it is out standing service and the cleanest most comfortable place I have ever stayed and I have stayed at some top hotels around the world with my job. This place takes them all... Owners are down to earth and look after you price around £35 pp with full English breakfast, even a couple of jacuzzis for the use of as well

The only person who can put it on the calendar now is Matt, as the previous person responsible has resigned.

Anyone wanting to book into the lodge needs to get in touch with them now. That are open and taking bookings. If you just turn up expect them to be fully booked, camping won't be a problem though.

People keep frightening me with horror stories of midges. What is the truth?

   Update Reply
Carolerd350 @ 07/03/2015 11:31

Midges can be right bastards but it depends on where you stay.
Midges like to be near still water and only fly when the air is very still, slightest bit of breeze and they are gone.
We had very little midge trouble the last two years, just the odd nibble sat outside the pub.
There are three solutions to the midges.
1. Avon skin so soft.
2. Go back inside the pub.
3. Stake XK out on the ground and cover him in jungle formula midge repellant. Midges actually think of jungle formula as a delicious marinade. This might seem harsh but after experiencing the after effects of his preferred diet of pickled eggs and liquid effluent is seems quite reasonable!
So stop worrying.

Midges? Check out the previous two years photos on the events page for July 2014 and July 2013. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Cover yrself in midge repellant.
They will then make a beeline to the nearest numpty.
