This is next weekend folks
Sunday July 6th - Cat and Fiddle in Buxton

Those who want a pilly seat and those offering one get your names down :)

We shall be co-ordinating and starting our ride from MacDonalds carpark at Bassetts Pole,Sutton Coldfield meet up time will be 10.30 for 11.00am depart

Just need a few folk from different areas to do the same thing closer to them.

Has anybody got an idea of a suitable meeting point for the Yorkshire group as the cycle race is going to block off the decent roads to the Cat and Fiddle ? .. Looking on route planner , If we set off from Squire`s it takes us on Woodhead pass from Barnsley .. But that road is blocked ? Only other way is via Worksop ? Come up the other side of Cat and fiddle ?

Take the old A1 and on to A1 Keep the learner in the mental it will be quiet on a Sunday morning

Hi nitro Yes just look at the map again see what you mean we'll just have to see you on the day We can go through Doncaster to avoid that section of the A1

Turn right out of squires and through Cawood stay on that road to A19 turn right and follow a19 to Doncaster.
I often take this route home from squires to Sheffield . When I don,t want to use motorway

I can meet you on A19 at Askern and take you quick way to cat & fiddle on some quite roads that sat navs and route planners don't send you on.
