Being in my new place today to organise decor, deliveries and moving stuff, oh and generally pottering around as much as one can with a broken foot/limp. Happy. Only downside..nowhere safe to park bike :(
Yesterday, a spur of the moment decision to go somewhere different.
A Real Ale (& Gin Bar! how times change eh? 😉) Festival in Collingham not too far away.
Absolutely brilliant, it was heaving, everyone enjoying themselves. Several generations of families all having a great time. Young n old alike. A great community vibe, which is a refreshing change.
Entertainment was great and company too!
Best thing about it? All for Charity: Prader-Willi Syndrome Association and local causes.
Special mention to Trev's Triumph (and his family) for travelling 200+ miles to man the bar.
Thanks for the tip off Trev. We had a brilliant time. In fact we enjoyed it so much, we will be back next year and I won't be driving!! 😁
Smile...shadowing a huge pack of vintage bikes around the Banbury Run,stopping to offer help when i could or just commiserate..weather held up pretty well until i was 3 miles from home..
It's a metallic yellowy/gold, to be honest, the more I looked at it, the more it started to grow on me so I might just leave it as is, plus the scratches on the n/s pannier look like I just escaped from a big cat attack. Want to get out on it but will wait until the end of the month before taxing. If you stood next to it, no-one would see you from the other side!! hahaha
Smile on Friday, cancelling my Green Flag membership, and re-discovering my ability to make the wrong cable fit the right bike,at the side of the road...odd co-incidence,the only bloke who pulled up to offer help as i was fitting another clutch cable, was my tattooist,on his old Harley chop...it's a small world..lol
