The problem in this country is common sense has been replaced by rules and regs.... Ok we all know some lad when we were young stepped out of line and the local bobby gives him a right good rollicking, slap or kick up the arse, a night in cells and it sorts him out, parents are mortified and he gets it from parents....he is so terrified he doesn't step over the line of the law again.....
Fast forward twenty years, police can't give rollicking as it infringes the youths rights..he needs a youth worker with him, if he got a kick in the arse he would sue and If they told his/ her parents they would be pissed off with the police not that there angel had done anything wrong......
