Lubed the chain, checked the tyres and then twisted that thing on the right hand side of the bars down some country roads - seemed like a good idea...

Looked at my shiny new bike and thought...... well I didn't buy it to look at it, and I am crap at cleaning them, so lets go.
Gorleston for afternoon tea, on to Yarmouth, back home via Norwich.
A fairly windy 110 miles, but oh so enjoyable, just pissed having to sit at 4000 ish rpm.

Working at the jigsaw puzzle that is the custom... Difficult to carry on where someone left off, working out where bolts, washers and bits are. So near yet so far away at finishing it

Wonderful long trip up North today, fecking freezing, windy, rainy and fingers almost stuck to the bars but great company at each end of it, just glad to be home and thawing out now, bike safe in garage first and that's all that matters ;)

After insuring my older Tiger and sorting out a coolant leak, I took her out for a nice 50 mile run into snowy Kent to the Oakdene Cafe, The last time I rode her was back in October.
It was a little fresh out there but just what the Doctor ordered and the first time in months that I've felt alive.
Tomorrow I have that lovely dilemma again of what bike to ride.

Serviced my Tiger and did air box mod to get better air flow only to discover the new K & N filter doesn't fit snuggly in the air box having a small gap to the inside of the box though fits over the inner walls so had to tape it down at the front to stop it sliding out of position, the screw holds it down at the back so will see how that goes. First time I,ve ever found a K&N that doesn't fit snug, its the right one according to the part number, very strange.

Stripped yet another 2nd gear, so that's another rebuild it needs. If I spunked 4 grand on a Yoshimura transmission it would solve the problem, but I'm loath to spend that at the moment cos the Pound to Yen exchange rate is a joke, a little while ago it was a third cheaper due to said rate............

86 miles in sunshine through the snowy Derbyshire Dales. Brilliant. New tyres and brakes now got 300 miles on them and feel great in the dry and wet.
