i would have thought your speed is up to you sprint 900... ya dont have to ride with others who prefer to bimble along merrily or if you are riding with a 125 then surely its gonna be 125 speeds surely ya will ride with those your comfortable to ride with

As the smallest bike on last weeks run was a 600 just thought 125's may struggle to keep up the pace, the Rivvi run wasn't at MotoGP pace but still quicker than 125's would manage. Not knocking 125's,I started on one as do most others, just suspect this run won't be at 125 pace.

I am quite a capable rider on my 125 as many will vouch for on here. I have done loads of ride outs and can keep a good speed up ( unless going up hill..lol) ..but obviously I can't do motorways. Like Suzi says, you will ride with whoever you are comfortable with.

Knightrider, we usually meet at the cafe with the big ice cream cones outside,... (the first one down from the Fishpond pub) I'm sure you will find us

Sprint - I can promise you some twisty bits you like and enough chance to get a move on (am fond of those meself)

Pausing a minute to admire some great scenery while 'perhaps' a slower bike catches up is also an option

The weather is looking cold but should be dry

Meeting up at North Parade (outside the ice cream shop and the cafe next door) Matlock Bath Derbyshire DE4 3NR Ian I've taken the liberty of adding this venue to the calendar http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/event_details.asp?event_id=3263

lol @ Dave, I don't know in this case, but I'm always referring to myself as a Giddy Kipper or I call my grandaughter it when she's running round like a loony... Perhaps it's a northern thing? Bit of a recap on this one... I might not be able to make it now as I've had a right day with Ziggy today, had to call the breakdown man out. Although he seems ok now, not sure if I dare risk it on Sunday. Will give him a run out tomorrow, see how it goes.

Never heard it before Karey, class myself as a northener, maybe my carer will know.

Hi Dave, a brief explanation of The Giddy Kipper it is indeed a Northern/Scottish expression usually used to describe over whelming feeling of impending joy. Following a recent trip upto Hartside Cafe attend by a large gathering of BMers, I put up a light hearted post which is now in the jokes and silly things forum which you might want to take a look at. Hopes this helps Ian
