Hi, I recently got caught in heavy rain for 60 miles on the way to Cambridge. On arrival popped into Aldi and low and behold, there hanging up was an all in one bike waterproof suit for £20. shame I spotted it after getting waterlogged in my leathers for 60 miles ! Lesson learnt, dont trust the weather man.
The Aldi near where Moonstone and I were staying in Germany proved to be useful. I bought a package of a compact road atlas of Germany with another of Austria, Northern Italy and Switzerland for only €3.99. They fit into a tank bag nicely and proved invaluable in helping to navigate our route home since I can neither use nor do I trust sat nav.
