As 'the regulars ' on here will know by now,I have a strong affinity with 'The First Tommies',and today is no exception.Mr Henry Allingham has been made an officer of The French Legion of Honour.He is 112 years old and is the last known survivor of the Battle of Jutland and apparently Britain's oldest man.He lost his wife nearly 40 years ago,and I have spent many afternoons with him,and his 2 daughters (who are both in their 80's) and have learnt alot from them.Harry Patch was also recently awarded the same honour.Hats off to you lads
giving the medals late at least revives the war if it's on the new's for those who havnt a clue it even happened!!i like the french in general, ordinary frenchie's are ok jus lie anyone else,!older french lady's are lovely they keep lookin attractive while most english lady's go to pot an give up as they get older!!ive met and danced with a good few an they are sexy[even if not particulary good looking], sommat about the way they hold themselves stay slim wear good clothes an look at you an talk luvverly!!
