http://www.tricksinthesticks.co.uk/ These people train you in the finesse of riding a bike off road using delicate balance of throttle brakes clutch and balance/weight distribution on light weight trails bikes, their aim is to teach you skills you can benifit from on the road or track (up to the indevidual) if you want to learn how to pull a wheelie and keep the wheel up through the gears or balance/throttle control stoppies controled slides, or just be able to ride off that wet field at the end of a camping weekend/rallie!

I think the whole point of the School is to get good on a very light and easy to use bike on soft stuff (less damage to you and the bike) if you flip your bike in a wheelie it'll hurt!!! pocket pride and last but not least you lol. I'm thinking that I'd be looking at doing this sometime in the future probably not this year as work is very thin on the ground at the mo and at around £200 a day........... I'd be looking into a camp over night the night before if anyone wants to do this from the North! (not that I'd exclude anyone from the South lol) They offer a group discount for groups of 8 maybe we can scrape 8 peeps up between now and next year?? (I've some compo due but cannot rely on that getting here anytime soon but have ear marked a few quid for fun think this would fall into that cat!! :oD)

Boo... I wanna learn to ride my Harley OVER traffic... (are you reading this, Sammy Miller?) Just kidding - I can't wait to try a modern trials bike... I have had heavier push bikes than most current trials machines! (And they have a larger fuel tank than my Nightster...) Will have to see how many are interested and where they are located....

From Holmfirthgirl's post on the Charley Boorman at BMW’s off-road school' href="http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/forum/posts.asp?topic_id=2527">Charley Boorman and BMW Off-Road Sc...008 forum: "a mate of mine reccomended this place wwwdoti2imcadotcom up in Yorkshire - he did say that you don't have to have a full licence either as it's all on private roads/tracks. He said it was a brilliant day & he's trying to get a group of peeps together to go back again."
