Cracked the rally was an eventfull run up from Cornwall...... called ahead to Somerset Camping telling them I would be a little late and to please wait as I was relying on them as new tent I was buying from them was my accommodation for the weekend.....got there 17:15 and all closed and locked....thats customer care for you....
Luckily Halfords to the rescue.... several average speed area's later arrived to a great welcome and a large glass of fire water to warm my bones from with in...lol..
Friday's festivities finished for me at 0900 on Saturday morning..... the crack around the fire was that good.....however the noisy get revving up his step through chicken chaser at 12.30 out side my tent was not good, and f-off or I will dismantle that engine with an axe soon brought peace and tranquility and a few giggles from the other tents....along with a red faced apologetic spotty young un..
Sat band was fantastic.....much jovial banter and few beers consumed....took the award for furthest travelled... and a few more beers consumed......
All in all it was brilliant weekend if not a bit emotional on the 340 odd freezing my actuals off on the way back..... you missed a good on guys..
