Take the plastic leg guards off and you'd have been knocking on the door of 55mph!

My first bike, an FS1E yam moped, used to take me miles and cruise at 50 mph comfortably...I was slimmer then. But camping weekends from the Midlands to the Welsh Coast were regular events.

If it rolls and has an engine, it will take you where ever you want to go and a 125 will "do" Scotland without any trouble, just take's a little longer, which is a good thing in most cases.

Never ridden on a trike though, doesn't traffic congestion and the configuration of the bike necessitate a steadier pace anyway?

EMDEE - I know exactly what you mean!! I rode that 'track' last month to get the ferry over to Tobermory... Try it on a Harley with pillion and saddlebags and top bag on one of the hottest days of the year! I wouldn't say we were close to missing our ferry but as soon as our wheels were on the ferry ramp it started moving off. Split second timing!! Must be the sadist in me but I really enjoyed wrestling the bike around that 'road'. (Not even mentioning the Strontian road... ) Might have a look at that rally, cheers! vent - glad you had a great time! Once I have got a 92" screen I will have a good look at your pics....
