This is a two day run to the West Country, just after the summer holidays...
Day 1 - 09th September 2017:
0800 – Meet at the Harvester, Solstice Park Services for breakfast (don't have to, but it is very good) https://www.harvester.co.uk/restaurants/southwest/theamesburyarchersalisbury
09 30 – Wheels roll (do have to – we have places to be...)
Then...general bimbling through the Deverills, down to, and along the South Coast, for lunch at our soon to be favourite West Bay, then a bit more coast, and spooky Dartmoor, getting to our hotel in Plymouth for about 1800 (plus or minus)....

(Do not screw this up...there are two Travelodges in Plymouth...Roborough is the key...the other one is a fair walk away and you'll miss most of the shandies)
(Oh, and sod the breakfast box...there's a Toby Carvery the other side of the car park...)
Shandies and supper at the Toby Carvery (with the people who booked into the correct Travelodge, whilst laughing about the people who didn't...) https://www.tobycarvery.co.uk/restaurants/south-west/roboroughplymouth
Day 2 - 10th September
Silly o'clock – Reveille!
Sometime between silly o'clock and 0845 – Breakast at Toby Carvery (as above, but no shandies...)
0900 – Wheels roll (yep, that means you too...)
Then, brilliant ride to, and along, the West Coast, down through Exmoor, and then hoofing it back to Amesbury for about 1800 (enough time to finish grinning ear to ear and wash the bike before work on Monday)...
Be there or be elsewhere?
