Friends, Please start adding as many events to our calendar as possible. I will be adding calendar events to the homepage also this week. A busy calendar will create a more active community, which is what we all want. Also, remember to check the event doesn't exist before you add it please! And don't forget a FULL address including VALID postcode for ALL events! It's not my job nor Kwaks to be trawling the internet for valid event postcodes... if you don't know it, don't add the event. Thanks!

The event form now acknowledges the £ sign so no need to put GBP or UKP, so please use the £ sign Cheers Sandi

yea that's another recent fix of mine... in fact it was my stupid cock-up in the first place that was turning the £ into a scrambled piece of code (trying to make the site secure from hackers).

quote Matt (on the event submission page) 'only if the event is national can you enter 0000-000'

international also can be 0000-000. If it's within the UK then it must have a postcode for people to search on (unless it's a national event, like a 'ride ur bike to work day' thing)

Please make sure the date, of the event you submit for inclusion into the event calendar, isn't TODAY'S. All event submissions with a 'today' date will be deleted. Events without a full address will also be deleted. No exceptions. Cheers Sandi

For those who are new, or just don't know, events that have less than a weeks notice will NOT be added to the event calendar, for obvious reason, however they can be added to the event FORUM.
