harley were helped in the second world war as well when they were given the contract instead of indian ( who had the better bike ) to build millitary bikes !!!! so i read once lol just thought id through it in there

If I'm right, then Harley made the Armstrong bike. I've ridden one belonging to a mate and the brakes were (almost) non-existant as I found out when a few feet away from a 'give-way' in the road.

I suppose if your going to take something of value at the HD factory its better to take the statue......its worth more and wont break down.
