BMW has confirmed its new S1000RR will be on show at this year's NEC, with six versions of the bike on hand for punters to oggle.

The six on show will include a WSB team race bike, a show bike in Motorsport colours with HP carbon-fibre parts, and four production bikes for people to sit on and try for size. The road production version of the S 1000 RR, is scheduled to go on sale in early 2010.

BMW Motorrad will also be unveiling a host of new models including the R 1200 RT Tourer and the R 1200 GS and GS Adventure, all of which have been uprated with a DOHC version of the boxer twin engine.

In addition the R 1200 RT Tourer gains a new style sleeker fairing, new switches and controls, and the ESA II version of optional Electornic Suspension Adjustment. These bikes will reach the NEC directly from the EICMA Milan show where they made their world premiere appearances.

A total of 33 bikes will be on display at the stand, representing all models in the 2010 range grouped by category into Sport, Enduro, Tour, Urban and High Performance.
