who would be interested in a free bikermatch function suite and possibly speed-dating at the southeast bikerfest?

Of course we could have the suite without speed dating if folks don't want that. I'd like your feedback though please.
Thanks
No can do - I'm committed to the YCOC Kent Air Ambulance fund raiser on the same day.
& wouldn't be up for speed dating myself in any case... but it is a giggle & something I recommend doing if you never have before Works best if you think up unusual stuff to chat about for your 3/5 minutes... there's only SO many times you can put up with saying what bike/car you've got and what you do for a living etc...
Speed dating never ever done it..it worries me a bit...but if Im around in September I might give it a go...Im useless at dating so perhaps 3/5mins might suit even me!! PMSL
There's nothing to worry about - you're just striking up short conversations with a whole bunch of people you never have to see again if you don't want to.
You also know that it's time limited, so if your eyes start to glaze over after 60 seconds of sheer boredom, there's only another couple of minutes to have to pretend to be interested in what they're saying. So you don't have to dream up excuses to get away from them or make out you've seen someone you know across the crowded room and simply MUST go and say hello to them
Treat it as a giggle and enjoy the craic. It's an opportunity to meet a load of people you might otherwise never encounter.
It's great fun BC - not so much if you're uncomfortable talking to strangers I guess, but even then, it's not so bad as you know it's only got to be for a few minutes.
I know the feeling HR... it's a nightmare trying to do anything at the mo. I've not paid any bills for 2 months... it's all about to come on top!
well the organisers are watching this topic, and if there's enough demand then we can arrange the suite.
Please add yourself to the attendance list at least if you're goin to the event
Has it been linked to the July newsletter? There are a lot of members that don't use the forums... or who attend events, but don't like to put their names to the event attendance lists.
It's a busy weekend in the South - what with the Ace Cafe Reunion as well... mind you, I suppose with the Brighton Burn Up on the Sunday, they might get some day visitors to the Bikerfest event...?
Hope we can drum up some support - we in the SE seem to always be whining that there's "nothing" going on in the area
like busses WB, all come at once :-P
I'll add to newsletter if Kwak hasn't already (She's sent it to me but i dont have it to hand).
Will be sending it out after the weekend
