OMG ! ... I've heard people on about Susan, a contestant on Britains Got Talent, but dint really take much notice, then saw this on Youtube:-

Amazing.. wot a voice!
especially around the 3:10 mark..... med the hairs on my neck stand up.
I'm not usually inta this kinda stuff.. so was just playin it in the background, when my little grandaughter, (19mth old) came up to me and held my hand and said 'ahhhhhhh lady' and stood and watched it... proppa med me fill up one of them special nanan moments
She has had nearly 25 million hits on youtube already ! lol
Even Simon was gobsmacked! lol
I watched this on the night (sad I know). I agree Karey, she was amazing! But what was gobsmacking was Simon's attempt to wriggle out of being wrong! "i was thinking you were going to produce something extraordinary" Yeah right! Extraordinarily awful was what he was really thinking
Great to see him squirm every so often
Too right Tizzy !! he's so smug! and of course he will take all the credit for her future.
I cant beleive she hasn't been 'discovered' before.
Just goes to show.. 'never judge a book by its cover'
Amazing lady.
Somehow I doubt she'll let him She may be a devout catholic but when she came on stage she was one ballsy lady, gave him as good as she got
Good luck to her & I hope she goes far
I loved Simon Cowell's reaction to it - brilliant recovery!
What I liked best is that knowing smile she gives, just as she's about to sing, that says "You really haven't got a damn clue what's coming, have you? & I'm going to LOVE every minute of this!"
And that young girl early on in the clip has now had around 25 million people seeing her for the vacuous bitch she is Maybe she might learn a little from it. About time we celebrated "talent" and not a pile of skin & bones, with pumped up boobs and a half-tuneful voice that only sounds good with a lot of post-production.
Susan Boyle doesn't need to sing "modern music"... there's a HUGE market for songs from musicals and suchlike. She's not trying to be a "pop" star.
Do you know what... I might actually have to start watching this drivel... I clicked on to watch her again (I obviously haven't had enough eye leakage to last a lifetime yet! ) and then clicked on another link to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gHvATmUsSg&NR=1
which then had the eye leakage effect all over again only this time from hysterical giggling... what a great team! Brilliant!
i want another britney! lol. Shes stunning. You don't have to listen to the voice, put your fingers in your ears - that's what I do.
Seriously though this Susan has an amazing voice and I do hope she does well. Definitely got talent!
Matt! you're so...male! lol
I can't wait to see what Susan looks like after they've finished with the inevitable make-over job. I love her voice and would buy her C Ds, if I had the dosh
I have to agree that she was brilliant, and Simon's comment about knowing that she was going to do something extraordinary was most definitely said with his tongue very firmly in his cheek, as he clearly knew he had been taken by surprise along with everyone else!!
Just watched it & have to agree, what a voice that woman has got!! you could see the £&$ signs registering in Simon Cowell,s eyes. Susan Boyle is unemployed no longer. totally unexpected & stunning.
Wannabe I heard that Stavros married a girl called Miss Refused and she didn't want to lose her surname so they went double barrelled
I aint got a clue who Stavros Flatly is but ta for explaining what the link lead to.
Susan Boyle.... This womans voice is pnenomenal, not usually my cuppa but have watched this you tube clip 3 times now. Whats the betting next time we see her she will be sooo glamourous! a bit like "Olive" off "On The Buses" remember her.
Thanks for sharing this clip, I know its been on the news but as I dont induge in TV much I did wander what all the fuss was about so now I know. Good luck to the woman.x
