The organisers of the spring Wirral Egg Run will be running a winter Toy Run in aid of the children's ward at Arrowe Park hospital on December 7, meeting at New Brighton promenade at 11am. I was about to put in on the events page, when I discovered there's another Toy Run the same day. This one's at 10.30am, starting at the Top Barn at Rivington in aid of a children's hospice at Chorley. So who's going where on december in the North West? Need to double-check summat about the Wirral one, but I'll put em both up soon.
The Sally Army one's this Saturday, November 8, 9am for an 11am start. Just Google Salvation Army Toy Run 2008. I'll try to get it on event later tonight.
Any Manchester experts out there? The Sally Army web site says to start at Cassidy Close near to the Trafford Centre. Yet the only Cassidy Close I can find with Google maps is east of the city centre, off the Oldham Road.
Wills I think there are several toy runs that week end, sorry I can't make either of the ones you mentioned as I already have my name down to do one to my local Acorns Hospice on the 7th.
