I just thought that I would spread the word out to everyone who is wanting to get their tests done before it all changes.The new test is now being delayed for another 6 months now so you don't need to panic so much now! You now have until March 30th 2009 to take your test before it changes and hopefully we will all have a local test center which won't make the price go up so much!Good luck to all who are going through their tests!If you know someone who want to take their test before it changes then spread the word out to them!Want proof? cure is, and it works LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING..... POINT YOUR HEAD WHERE YOU ARE GOING BIKE WILL FOLLOW. Did you get that? cos it took me a few times before i believed it to !!!! keep at it so easy on a 125 when youve got it you will wonder what all the fuss was about.

always seem to cock-up the first couple of attempts..then perfection..have a ride around(always complemented on great ride by instructor)back to u-turns & start cocking up then good again!!can,t get it in my head for first couple of attempts

Julie....just to avoid confusion. You look WHERE you want to go. Not where you are going LOL The secret to U turns and any low speed manouver is to keep some revs on, usually about 2500/3000 and just use rear brake to balance the bike. Learn to master clutchslip like you do in a car at slow speed and you will soon crack it. I know blokes that have ridden 30 years and they get off and turn a bike!....old dogs etc

Blues said **Apparently even some of the examiners are havin trouble passin the test. ** yep - that's exactly what Glynn (my CBT instructor) said last week - he said that a few instructors have written their bikes off doing one of the manouvers that you're supposed to do - going round a roundabout (smallish one) @ high speed, doing a swerve manouver once you're off the roundabout & then coming to a halt - apparently you go through timing beams to make sure that you do it in an average of 32 mph!!
