I've seen a Bluetooth Built into a Dianese Helmet today and it claims to have a 400 meter range on it (thought Bluetooth only went as high as 100 meters CLASS 1) at £379 not a cheap helmet but a lot neater than the Nolan equivilant where you buy the helmet and Bluetooth separate and fit it yourself.
I use an Interphone bluetooth kit which has a supposed range of 500m.... I am very impressed with it - I can hear and chat perfectly at 70mph (even above a Harley's rattling engine). I also pair it to my GPS so it gives me directions through the earpiece and I could also pair my bluetooth MP3 player, although I prefer to make my own soundtrack as I ride and would not welcome the distraction. You can also get accessories to set it up rider-to-pillion or pair it with another headset for bike to bike. It is a real neat installation and can be used with full or open face helmets. One touch voice-activated dialling and speak-to-answer system.
I think I paid £125 at the NEC show last year.

Yes but I've also seen a Viper RS-121 Bluetooth Helmet only 10 meter range but £149 flip up design with figter pilot style built in sun visor too, (I have trouble getting any of those to fit they tend to feel far too clustarphobic I.E they touch my nose and or chin ALL the time which on a high speed run anywhere is damn annying if not down right uncomphy) But an ACU approved helmet with those features has to be a bargin. Especially when i'd like to buy a pair........Daughters!! lol

Just looked at the Viper helmets on line - they look pretty good! Suddenly my add-on bluetooth setup doesn't look quite so groovy...
p.s. wouldn't be without my flipdown sunvisor...
Well i was wanting to get annother Arai with my compo but truly think bluetooth is the way fwd on a helmet sooooo, I can see me going to the shop where i saw it and driving a bit of a bargin (I get 10% off there anyway but as I'd be spending about a grand on replacement stuff I'm sure they'd give me a bit more lol) if not tinternet!!!!
