Ta for that Wills, you found that quickly. I would prefer a pic of just the bike. Tho I did some browsing while I was there and Lois's touring story is interesting, it's a bugger now tho cos I want to find out what happened next but I've got to buy her book for that. I admire her (and other women's) nerve, I'd never go touring and certainly not alone.
That looks like the Bantam the bike museum had but neither of them resemble my D7. I guess mine had been mucked about with more than I knew at the time.
Loadsa pictures from Google Images. Just go to the usual google home page, then click on images up in the top left corner and do the search as you would anyway.
I chose this one precisely cos I thought peeps on this site would find Lois's story interesting...there's at least one rider on BM who'd like to mark her 50th by doing the length of the Americas, too.
Ta for that info Wills.
I wish I'd had the nerve to do more travelling when I was young and fit enough to do it. Lois wasn't completely alone fair enough but loads of women do travel solo and they all have my respect whatever their age.
