I won't have a word against them - I ride all year round to get to work as i don't drive, and I hate having to ware thick gloves, I don't feel in control when I cant feel switches etc...
With my heated grips, its December and I'm still waring my summer gloves
I've never tried heated clothing, usually just pile the layers on, if i were to get it, i think i'd have to have the dearer stuff that plugs into the bike rather than running of batteries, i'd be forever charging the damn things.
Hi Sandi lol yes i missed that bit doh. i have used heated grips on a few different bikes on and of for sometime. but just recently bought a heated jacket (connects to bike battery) it's the dogs danglies plain n simple 4 heat settings never bin over 2 yet i ride in a lot of crap weather (dispatch rider in london) yea well someones gotta do it lol. wont mention the make here dunno bout the rules n regs re promoting/advertising but if anyone wants to know which one i got feel free to message me.............
Heated grips are great. nothing worse than numb fingers and not very safe either. I find putting the grips on full for ten minutes then knocking them down to low is sufficient to keep my hands warm.
Also have heated body warmer that plugs into bike that keeps the chill off. Have wired it through a switch on the bike so I can turn on and off as I'm riding so I don't get too warm.
I forgot to mention , The body warmer I have has it's own little rechargeable battery pack .... 9 heat settingon it you don't need it on full the battery will last a days riding usually
