Yes I know its not motorcycle racing, but if you like car racing then you should enjoy this. Not only is the racing pretty good - the tickets are free - which is always better than a slap in the face Anyway all you need to do is visit renault.co.uk and register - then sign up for the tickets for the Silverstone round - You can opt out of marketing and even though I have been signed up for the last few years I haven't really had too many emails from Renault anyway (certainly not compared to what other compansies can flood your inbox with). They give away about 100,000 tickets and you can ask for up to 4 tickets - young children don't need a ticket but they do need to be accompanied by an adult. Also Grandstand entry is free Funfair and Events on infield is also free. Regular pitlane walks, and open paddock where you can get a close look at the cars. Races include: Clio Cup Megane Cup 2.5 litre and 3.5litre Open Wheel championship (includes the world series cars - which are a stepping stone to F1) Also vintage car runs around the track between races, old renault rally cars and various F1 cars too. Only thing you would have to pay for is food, unless you bring your own. Like I said - it isn't motorbike racing, but for a free event - especially when money may be a bit tight, and to be able to take family along too its pretty good weekend out. Also the series takes place in Europe so if you actually fancied checking out some of the other rounds, you can apply for tickets for the foreign rounds . most of them you just need to download and print the tickets off - it seems that its only the UK round you have to still register for If you decide to go then hope you have a great time and may even see you there
