17 bands inside and outside bike show good site Ect!!!!!
The weekend is aimed at all those people who are interested in Blues Music. At the same time it is to raise funds for the National Youthbike Charity.
Like a lot of charities we have joined forces with a successful national business, Fat Skeleton, who are very well known and respected suppliers to the custom motorcycle fraternity.
The weekend will be open to the pre-booked at about 10:00am on the Friday morning. Please note that there will be vehicles moving about until Friday at 5:00pm when all vehicles will stop in the main show area.
When you arrive you will be asked for your name and this will be checked against the data and then you will be issued with your wristbands.
Music will start on the main stage at about 7:30pm with music being played between the bands by a Lincoln City Radio DJ.
There will be a coffee bar open for hot drinks on arrival.
On the Saturday morning and perhaps in the early Saturday afternoon there will be some workshops available for people to learn about aspects of playing the blues. These workshops will be listed in the programme that you will be given on arrival. These workshops are free but participants are asked to contribute to a collection to help meet the session leaders expenses.
In the Main Barn on Saturday afternoon there will be live music and the bar will be open for tea, coffee, hot chocolate and liquid anaesthetic, also known as booze. Real ales are being ordered from local micro breweries and we will be testing these to make sure the quality is good and the effect has the desired effect.
Between 6:00pm and 7:00pm there will be a gap in the live music but the barn will be open with the coffee bar available thoughout the weekend.
The Bistro will be open at convenient times for those who want to sit down meal in warm surroundings. Yes you read right, a Bistro! This is new to the site.
From 7:00pm the live music will commence until approximately 1:00am on Sunday morning.
Sunday morning will see the burger bar open for food and the barn will be open but there will not be any music on Sunday.
