Sugababe Amelle Berrabah was banned from driving for fourteen months after pleading guilty to drink driving at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. She asked the court not to ban her as she feared for her safety on public transport, but the judge said that for the cost of running her £300,000 Mercedes for a year she could afford “an awful lot of taxis”.
