Heard good reviews about this bash recently so depending on weather and current situation I think I'll give it a go.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, so let's hope that we are all able to make it.

Fink, Welsh cakes be good, Bara Brith is a little plain but simple to make.
There was a little shop here in Sheffield that used to sell Welsh cakes made in Maesteg some had jam in the middle.
Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.

I knew you would have latched on to this one Glyn as soon as you saw it was in Wales! You don't need Fink to make the Bara Brith as you are perfectly able to turn out an awesome one yourself. Get baking boyo :)

Susi, it's camping, in Wales, with bikes, and good company of course I've latched on to the thread 😂😂
Not to bad at making a good cawl either. 😄 Have you got your name down yet ?

Camping weekend in Llandovery 4th - 6th June close to The Black Mountain in the Towy valley. This is on a really good family run site with very good amenities, (shower block etc )
Next door to the camp site, we have Llandovery rugby club where we can book breakfast (in advance) they also do evening meals. There are also a short walk away, numerous good pubs and places to eat locally.
The possibilities for rides out over the mountains on Saturday are endless for those who want to see some breath-taking scenery, weather permitting. Lol
For those who like visiting biker cafes, we have two. 'The Owl's nest' next door, and the West end café, in Llandovery both a Mecca for motorcyclists.
M&P's is also about 30 miles away if anyone wants to go and drool over bikes (or accessories)
The site is pet friendly but pets must be kept under full control at all times and any fouling cleaned up immediately This also applies to any members that have brought there children along who are always welcome to BM camps

Site fees are as follows 2 ppl sharing a small tent £10.00 pn
Campervan or caravan £17.00 With electric £14.00 Without
These are below list prices for the site if you turn up with a mahoosive tent or Gazebo you will have to pay more. All camping monies will be collected by Fink on your arrival. Fink will also keep a list of attendees so be sure to add yourself to the event list.
Any other questions Please contact Fink or JP
Hope to see you all there

Ha ha, Glyn, you'd better get your pinny on, and bring the Bara Brith yourself now that I know you can cook. I hope you're coming too Suzi ? It should be a good one if it goes ahead x

So this is a social sort of gathering rather than a festival piss up. God I feel old.

Yes its a just that we would be down the pub on the evening for some food or just drink but thats unlikely so it will be the Local co-op for a few cans and bottles and a bbq tray on the evening then days its go for a ride around the localish area or just sober up ready for the next pint. The site does not permit load music or unruly behaviour
